Price from your real costs and value, and set clear rules for every discount.

Signs your prices are too low

Busy months with little money left, frequent rework you cannot charge for, and customers who never question your quote can all suggest underpricing. Check your actual costs before deciding.

விலை குறைவாக இருந்தால், அதிக வேலை செய்தும் லாபம் கிடைக்காது.

Start with your full cost

Include material, labour, delivery, rework and a fair share of rent and administration. Compare that with your current price on your most common orders. Your accountant can help classify costs and GST correctly.

Set discount rules

Decide who can approve a discount, the maximum allowed and what the customer gives in return, such as advance payment or a larger order. Record every concession.

Communicate the change clearly

Give regular customers advance notice, explain what changed and what they continue to receive. Consider applying new prices to new orders first.

Your first action this week

Pick your five most frequent orders, calculate the full cost of each and mark any that earn too little. Review those prices before the next quotation.
